Financial aid counselors recommend that parents and students should obtain information about financial aid early in the college application process. FAFSA applications for the 2010-2011 School Year (July 1st, 2010 - June 30th, 2011) submitted as soon as possible after January 1, 2010 get the best chance for financial aid opportunities.
